4/1/2008 - State Budget Contains Essential Funding for Family Planning Services
The 2008-2009 New York State Budget makes great strides in providing essential family planning services and moving New York toward a patient-centered model of health care delivery. Governor David Paterson, New York State Legislators and the Department of Health are designing a system which recognizes the complexity of New Yorkers’ lives and helps health care providers address the needs in their communities.
3/20/2008 - Health Care Providers from Across the Country Seek to Improve Service for Clients with Limited English
To help meet the health care needs of the five million New Yorkers who speak a language other than English at home, the Education Fund of Family Planning Advocates of New York State held a cultural competency assessment training for health care providers from across the country.
