FPA at 30: Strong, Smart and Just Getting Started

2007 marked FPA’s 30th year of fighting for access to safe and affordable sexual and reproductive health services for all New Yorkers.

During this milestone year, FPA held several celebratory events around the state to both recognize the progress New York has made toward protecting reproductive rights and look ahead to an even brighter future. In commemoration of FPA’s first 30 years, a 30th Anniversary Honorary Committee was formed.

Additionally, FPA is renewing its commitment to protect and expand reproductive health and rights by embracing the youth and vitality that comes with being 30. As part of this renewed commitment, FPA formed a Young Leaders Advisory Board to ensure that the challenges against women’s health are fought with innovation and energy.
